5 reasons to start using a Dry Herb Vaporizer
Attitudes towards cannabis are changing as government policy begins to reflect both scientific research and public opinion.
CBD, a compound within cannabis was in the news multiple times throughout 2018 due to it being used by the NHS to reduce epileptic seizures in children and a Populus poll found that over 60% of the UK public think the government should change its cannabis legislation.
Finally, cannabis being available on the NHS great news for patients who have been privately been using CBD to self medicate at home. However, many of these medical patients are still ingesting cannabis through smoking.
In the UK, smokers in the know are becoming increasingly health conscious and as a result,
are switching to dry herb vaporizers in their droves.
If you are still smoking you should switch to vaping too and here are 5 reasons why:
We should all now know that smoking tobacco has devasting effects on your lungs due to the high number of carcinogens and toxins in tobacco. However, many people are unaware that smoking any plant matter is bad for you!
Even cannabis provided by the NHS combusts at over 1000°c and produces over 100 carcinogens and toxic materials. These toxins coat your lungs in tar which can cause breathing difficulties and other health problems over time.
This defeats the object of using NHS cannabis as a medicine!
When you vape cannabis no combustion occurs. As a result, only the medical compounds evaporate whilst the toxins in the vaporizer stay in the vaporizer oven!
You can have more control over the medical effects.
CBD isn’t the only compound that provides medical benefits. In fact there are over 100 individual compounds in the cannabis sativa plant and research across the globe suggests that dozens of these hold powerful medical benefits.,
Different compounds have different boiling points and as such evaporate at different temperatures.
When you smoke cannabis, the high temperatures can either damage all of the compounds in the plant or release them all at the same time.
The advantage of vaping is that it empowers patients to select the individual compound that contains some of the medical benefits they need and set the temperature so only that compound is released – quite ingenious!
You’ll save money
Typically, vaping means that patients can use less cannabis whilst enjoying more of the benefits.
To smoke, you are required to light your cannabis up in flames which will result in you destroying the majority of the terpenes and cannabinoids hidden in the plant that contain all the medical benefits.
Also, when you smoke between drags, your cigarette is still burning away meaning much goes to waste.
As we touched on before, vaporizers do not reach a high enough temperature to burn plant matter. As a result, none of the plant is destroyed and you can turn the tape off after a hit, saving the rest until later.
