7 Steps to Proper Vaping – A Guide
Vaping is a difficult task if you are someone who has not experienced it properly before. You need to try and work out how to do all of the different things that lead up to a satisfying vaping experience. It is not easy to try and figure how it all works, so having a guide will help.
With that in mind, here’s a lot of steps for you to follow to get the best vaping experience – 7 in fact. Think of this as being your step-by-step guide for considerations on what to do when it comes to vaping.
#1 – Pick Your E-Liquid
When you start vaping for the first time, you need to pick an e liquid. You have a choice between either VG or PG e-liquids. PG is best for stronger and more intense experiences, whereas VG is better for vapour. You will find that there are numerous types of liquid to pick from but they all go into one of those two categories.
#2 – Prime Your Vape Device
It is time to think about your primer puff. This is like the catalyst for the device, and it is important to get it started. You hold the button down for 2 – 3 seconds, and then inhale and exhale slowly to make sure the device works properly. Without this, you won’t get the satisfying experience that you’re looking for.
#3 – Time to Inhale
Inhalation is a tricky one when it comes to e-cigarettes, because you don’t actually need to inhale. It’s not a required thing so much as it is an instinct from people who have smoked for a long time or the action of someone who thinks it’s what they have to do. You want to think about inhalation – if you can do it, it is quite a good way to get the maximum flavour and sensation.
#4 – Short or Long Drags?
Some people wonder if they need to take short or long drags on their device to get the best result. A short drag doesn’t give you a suitable amount of time to properly absorb all of the liquid and give the heating element time to warm up, so a long drag is the recommended option.
#5 – Proper Inhalation
If you’re just starting out in the world of e-cigarettes, there is an advised method which is recommended by experienced vaping enthusiasts. It is suggested that you take between 3 – 7 draws, and then hold the vapour for several seconds. It helps to give you the best flavour while ensuring that you’re not overwhelmed by the sensation.
#6 – Recharge Between Uses
Your device should have a long and productive lifespan ahead, but you need to make sure that you have properly allowed it to cool off and calm down before you use it again. Wait a few minutes to let the heating element reset back to normal before you try using the device again. Not only does this help to prevent burnout, but also keeps you safe from a burnt tongue or a sore throat – all common issues for vaping enthusiasts.
#7 – The Definitive Vaping Technique
There actually isn’t one! Contrary to what people believe, you don’t have one method of vaping which is right or wrong. Instead you get an experience which requires you to be as sensible and safe as possible. How you vape depends on your preference. The only thing that everyone can agree on is that the best thing to do is to make sure that you do not take short drags. Everything else is optional.
So as you can tell it is easy to vape properly when you know what to do! It is this lack of knowledge which creates an issue for people however. When no one knows how to vape, they struggle to do it in the best possible way. What this does is create a feedback loop of bad experiences, which prompt improper techniques and methods, and the vicious cycle continues until you don’t want to vape anymore.
Vaping can be a highly rewarding and enjoyable experience, so long as you take the time to look for the correct tools. Having the right mods, kits and tools for vaping is just as important as any of the tips we’ve come up with here. Your experience can be highly rewarding or incredibly uneventful depending on the way you do things and how you use the different parts of an e-cigarette. Discretion and experimentation are all advised for success.
