Best 18650 Battery for Vaping

With the rise of high powered vaping mods, we have all become familiar with 18650 batteries but often are a bit confused with which battery is the best for our needs.

The first thing to consider is the battery brand.  We recommend purchasing a reputable brand from a reputable vendor such as the 18650BatteryStore.com.  In 2018, there are many new battery brands coming out of China and a majority of these brands simply re-wrap the batteries and exaggerate their ratings.  Stick to the 5 major battery brands (LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Sanyo and Sony).  If you purchase any other brand battery, realize you are likely overpaying for a re-wrapped battery with false ratings.

Next, you need to consider your needs.  If you are using a regulated mod and vape in a modest range, you can go with one of the higher mAh batteries such as the Samsung 30Q or LG HG2.  These will give you all the power you need and can last you multiple days between recharging.  On the contrary if you are a cloud chaser vaping with a custom build, you will likely want to use one of the higher CDR rated batteries such as the LG HB6.  This LG 18650 battery can handle heavy loads and doesn’t heat up nearly as quick as the other 18650 batteries.

THE BEST 18650 BATTERY IS……

With all of this being said, there is one battery that reigns supreme for 2018 and that is the Sony VTC5A.   This battery has outperformed all other 18650 batteries as it hits noticeably harder and lasts for a longer period of time than any other 18650 battery cell.

Please remember to purchase your batteries from a reputable source.  We recommend the 18650BatteryStore.com
