If you are completely new to the marvelous vaping world, an eGO style battery will probably suit the majority of your needs. However, our needs always tend to grow, and this is also true when it comes to a nice, relaxing vape.
This is where Innokin iTaste MVP 2.0 could probably come in. As the name suggests, it is an updated version of its predecessor, the MVP 1.0, and, despite the quite similar looks, it gives us more things to play with and to make our daily vape even more enjoyable.
Innokin iTaste MVP 2.0 Review
[productreview]
Looks & Design
The iTaste MVP 2.0 is a rectangular-shaped variable voltage and variable wattage (VV/VW) mod with a 510 connector and a display on its side. Unlike the red-colored (and probably not-so-easy-on-the-eye) display of the MVP 1.0, this one lights the digits in blue; there are two setting buttons on the side of it. There is also a built-in ohm meter which displays the resistance of the currently mounted atomizer, and a “puff counter”, allowing you to control your daily nicotine intake.
The MVP 2.0 has a nice firing button which also indicates the battery levels using green, yellow and red LEDs. It is placed quite ergonomically, so adaption from eGO type devices should not be a concern. At the same time, the two setting buttons at the side of the display may seem not very convenient and straightforward. They are designated as “P” and U” – “P” is used for adjusting the wattage, “U” – for the voltage, but pressing them both at the same time gives the ohm reading.
Functionality & Performance
Battery wise, the iTaste MVP 2.0 has a built-in 2600 mAh polymer Li-Ion battery which is rechargeable using USB. And, quite surprisingly, this mod also works as a portable power source for your electronic devices – it has a USB port, and after a flip of a switch (ON/OFF) you can charge, say, your phone. Safe to say – it is a quite handy feature when you are on the go; besides, the MVP 2.0 also comes with a cable which has some of the most used mobile device connectors.
The iTaste MVP 2.0 performs just great. Seems like it never fails to provide its owner with a steady, warm vape, and its respectable appearance embodies the high durability and reliability of the device. The voltage/wattage range is high enough for the majority of clearomizers available in the market, and the rectangular shaped mod definitely loves being coupled with Innokin products like iClear 16, iClear 30 and iClear 30s.
Final thoughts
In 2015, there are a whole lot of electronic cigarette mods available on the market, and for an inexperienced e-cig user it may seem hard to find a truly great and suitable product. However, the reliability, simplicity and competitive price of the Innokin’s iTaste MVP 2.0 gives it quite a lot of advantages over other similar products, therefore it is a great device both for beginners and advanced users.
