What is #Vapetober and how is it helping people to quit smoking?

What is #Vapetober

As October draws to an end, it might be too late for this year but there is always next Stoptober or Vapetober. If you didn’t hear about either of these campaigns this year then he’s a quick rundown.

Stoptober is a 28-day “stop smoking” annual challenge that was started back in  2012 by Public Health England (PHE). This supports and encourages smokers in England and other parts of the U.K. to quit smoking.

Vapetober is the vaping industries version of stoptober. For many reasons sometimes quitting smoking all together isn’t an option or indeed isn’t a choice some people would like to make.

A solution put forward by the vapers is to make the switch from smoking to vaping. A great example of this is the recent vapetober campaign by Mist.

Each Vapetober Mist aims is to get as many people as possible to switch from smoke to vapour. With over 2.6 million people in the U.K. already Vaping, it is now one of the most popular and successful ways to make the switch.

Mist have helped over 20,000 people to make the switch to vaping.

So if you missed this year, watch out for Stoptober or Vapetober next year as there is not only additional quitting support on offer throughout the month, but you can normally grab a bargain as companies offer exclusive deals that aren’t normally available throughout the rest of the year.
