Why Today’s Disposable Vapes Are Nothing Like the E-Cigarettes You Remember
If you’ve been vaping for long enough, you can remember what disposable e-cigarettes were like during the industry’s early days – and if you tried one of those devices, there’s a good chance that you immediately upgraded to a refillable vaping device and swore that you’d never buy another disposable e-cigarette again.
If you were burned by a poor-quality disposable e-cigarette in the early days of vaping, you’ve probably ignored the fact that disposable devices have enjoyed a resurgence in popularity over the past couple of years. As it turns out, though, today’s disposable vapes are almost nothing like the e-cigarettes that you remember from several years ago. You may find, in fact, that switching to disposable vapes can be a real game changer that helps you rediscover what made you fall in love with vaping. You’ll probably also save a surprising amount of money in the process.
These are the reasons why today’s disposable vapes are nothing like the disposable e-cigarettes you might remember from the past.
Today’s Disposable Vapes Use Legitimate Premium E-Liquids
One of the biggest things that turned people off from disposable vapes in the past was the fact that the devices really didn’t taste good at all. It was rare to find a disposable device in any flavor other than tobacco or menthol, and those e-liquids – which were usually produced cheaply in China – really weren’t very good. There was simply no way around the fact that if you really wanted to enjoy premium flavors, you had to buy your vape juice by the bottle.
A major factor separating today’s disposable vapes from the devices of the past is the fact that they’re available in a much wider variety of flavors. There are nearly a dozen Air Bar disposable vape flavors, for instance, and that’s just one brand. What’s even more important is that the flavors themselves are extremely high in quality. Companies aren’t filling their disposable vapes with e-liquids provided by the lowest bidders anymore; they’re working with the world’s leading vape juice brands. These are the same types of e-liquids that you’d ordinarily buy in bottled form.
Disposable Vapes Are the Cheapest Devices on the Market
For as long as the vaping industry has existed, the conventional wisdom has been that if you want to spend as little on vaping as possible, you need to use a refillable device. In the past, that made complete sense because a disposable vape only had enough e-liquid for about a day of vaping at the most. For most people, it was illogical to buy disposable e-cigarettes because they were more expensive than tobacco cigarettes.
Today’s disposable vapes deliver massively more puffs than the devices of the past. The Air Bar Max, for instance, delivers up to 2,000 puffs per device. That’s about as many puffs as you’d get from an entire carton of cigarettes, and the higher capacity has completely transformed disposable vapes from a value standpoint. If you’re currently using a sub-ohm vape mod, you’re probably going through a large bottle of e-liquid every two or three days. That means you’re spending much, much more on vaping than you would with disposable vapes.
Disposable Vapes Are More Satisfying Than Ever
Another thing that hampered the widespread acceptance of disposable vapes in the past was the fact that the devices simply weren’t satisfying enough from a nicotine delivery standpoint. An early disposable e-cigarette typically had a nicotine strength of 18 mg/ml at the most. Considering the poor vapor production of those devices, that simply wasn’t enough nicotine to satisfy smokers. That’s another reason why many early vapers switched to refillable devices as quickly as they could.
Instead of the lower-strength e-liquids that they used in the past, today’s disposable vapes use nicotine salt e-liquids with much higher strengths. In the United States, you can now find disposable vapes with nicotine strengths up to 50 mg/ml. For those who don’t need quite so much nicotine, lower strengths are often available as well. The Air Bar Max, for instance, is available with a strength of 20 mg/ml. That’s perfect for people who have already switched completely to vaping and no longer need every puff to deliver a cigarette-like level of nicotine.
For those who haven’t made the switch to vaping yet, buying a disposable vape is the perfect way to get started. At a nicotine strength of 50 mg/ml, a disposable vape delivers nicotine almost as effectively as a tobacco cigarette. With that kind of efficiency, it’s easy for a smoker to put the cigarettes down and pick up a disposable vape without feeling much of a difference. Since a disposable vape is ready to use right out of the package – and doesn’t even require a lighter – it’s even more convenient than smoking. There are many vapers who use disposable devices exclusively and have no interest in using anything else.
Disposable Vapes Give You That “New Coil” Flavor with Every Puff
If you’re a vaper, you know there’s nothing better than the pure, bold flavor that you get after replacing your coil. Enjoying that “new coil” flavor is simply the best that vaping ever gets. Unfortunately, with the coil-killing sweet e-liquids that most people use these days, the new coil flavor never lasts long. By the time you’ve gone through a few tanks of vape juice, the flavor quality is awful.
Switching to disposable vapes gives you the ability to bypass those annoying coil replacements because you get an entirely new coil every time you buy a new device. You’ll enjoy the ideal flavor with almost every puff – and when the flavor quality starts to decline, it’ll be time to replace the device anyway. Replacing the coil in your vape tank is a pretty tedious activity when you need to do it every couple of days, and you’ll love the fact that switching to disposable devices greatly simplifies your experience. As expensive as today’s vape coils are, you’ll also love the cost savings that you enjoy when you no longer need to buy boxes of replacement coils.
